Privacy · Tank Range
In effect from 14 October 2026.
Tank Range is a game without sign-up. We collect nothing about you that the game does not need in order to run.
What stays in your browser
- Your name, the tank you picked, your last game setup, the language and the volume. They are kept in the browser's storage so you do not have to set them again.
- A temporary token that brings you back into a running game after a page refresh. It is gone when you close the tab.
- A random key to your anonymous profile and a copy of your progress, so the garage shows at once. Without the key nobody gets into the profile.
- You can delete all of it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
What reaches the server
- Your name and what you do in the game (driving, shooting). The server keeps it in memory for the length of the game only; it is gone when the room closes. None of it is stored.
- Other players in the same game see your name. The server replaces offensive names with a neutral one.
- An anonymous profile: your tanks' experience and levels, the chosen abilities and equipment, overall statistics and the results of public matches. It is kept in the server's database so your progress lasts. It holds no name, e-mail or IP address; the server only knows a fingerprint of your key.
- Your IP address is used briefly, in the server's memory, to limit abuse (creating too many games, for example). It is not stored.
- When an error happens in the game, your browser sends the server a description of it: the error text, the page, the game version and the type of browser. Your name and the content of the game are not part of it.
- The hosting provider may keep ordinary operational access logs.
What we do not use
- No cookies, no advertising and no tracking across websites.
- No visitor analytics. If we add any, it will be described here first.
- No scripts or fonts from other servers; everything loads from this address.
